Spreading Holiday Joy: Excellence Recovery’s Community Toy Drive

The holiday season is a time of joy, love, and giving back to those in need. At Excellence Recovery, we know how addiction can impact families, especially during the holidays. That’s why we partnered with CCV of Verrado, Rosie’s Taco Shop, and the Barbershop on Main in Verrado to host a community toy drive. Together, we aim to bring smiles to children from families impacted by addiction in Verrado and nearby areas.

The Purpose of the Toy Drive

Families affected by addiction often face emotional and financial challenges that make the holidays difficult. Our toy drive aims to ease some of that burden by providing gifts for children in these families. With your help, we hope to brighten the holidays for at least three families this year, with aspirations of reaching even more in the future.

This drive focuses on providing toys for children aged infant to 13. Bring new, unwrapped toys or gift cards to support the drive, or coordinate cash donations directly with Excellence Recovery.

CCV of Verrado

CCV of Verrado has graciously offered their campus as one of the drop-off locations for the toy drive. As a cornerstone of the Verrado community, CCV has a long history of bringing people together and supporting meaningful causes.

• Drop off your donations at CCV of Verrado from December 17th to December 19th between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Rosie’s Taco Shop

Located in the heart of Main Street Verrado, Rosie’s Taco Shop has become a local favorite for its authentic Mexican cuisine. Rosie’s Taco Shop has joined our efforts to make a difference this holiday season by serving as a convenient drop-off point for toy donations.

• Drop off your donations at Rosie’s Taco Shop during their operating hours until December 22nd.

The Barbershop on Main in Verrado

The Barbershop on Main is more than just a place to get a great haircut—it’s a gathering place where neighbors become friends. As a proud partner in our toy drive, the Barbershop on Main is committed to giving back to the community that has supported them over the years.

• Drop-Off Information: Donations can be made at the Barbershop on Main now through December 21st (closed Sundays).
